Obverse: Profile bust of Louis XIV looking to proper left; inscribed at edge “LUDOVICUS MAGNUS REX CHRISTIANISSIMUS·” and under bust “R”.

Reverse: Two personifications (possibly peace and war) before a monument with spolia and inscriptions; inscribed above “SOCIORVM DEFENSORI·” and in exergue “PAX SEPTENTRIONIS·/M·DC·LXXIX·”.

Inscription

Obverse: Inscribed at edge "LUDOVICUS MAGNUS REX CHRISTIANISSIMUS·" and under bust "R".

Reverse: Inscribed above "SOCIORVM DEFENSORI·" and in exergue "PAX SEPTENTRIONIS·/M·DC·LXXIX·".
