Obverse: Profile bustof Louis XIV looking to proper left; inscribed at edge "LUDOVICUS XIIII·REX CHRISTIANISSIMUS·" and under bust "I·MAVGER·F·".

Reverse: Three putto in foreground--at proper right one is drawing, at center one is painting, and at proper left one is scultping; buildings in background and banner above; inscribed on banner "SCHOLAE AUGUSTAE", at proper right "B", and in exergue "ACADEMIA REGIA PICT·ET SCULPT·/[L]UTETIA ET ROMAE INST/M·DC·LXVII·".
