Circular medal of Louis XIV (1638-1714) and Anne of Austria (1601-1666). Hanging loop at top and beaded edge on both sides.

Obverse: Profile bust of young Louis XIV looking to proper left, wearing armor and laureate wreath; inscribed at edge “LVDOVICVS·XIIII·D·G·FR·ET·NAV·REX·” and under bust “·WARIN·1643·”.

Reverse: Profile bust of Anne of Austria looking to proper left, wearing a widow’s cap and viel; inscribed at edge “ANNA·D·G·FR·ET·NAV·REG” and under bust “WARIN”.
