Obverse: Profile bust of Louis XVI looking to proper left; inscribed at edge “LUDOVICO XVI.FR ET NAVAR.REGI OPTIMO”, under bust “B.DUVIVIER”, and in exergue “COMITIA BURGUNDIAE”.

Reverse: Female deity at center surrounded by four river gods, labeled on their cisterns; inscribed above “UTRIUSQUE MARIS JUNCTIO TRIPLEX”, on cisterns “LIGER”, ARAR”, “SEQUNA”, and “[ ]EEN[ ]”, below “DU VIVIER F”, and in exergue “FOSSIS AB ARARI/AD LIGERIM SEQUANAM ET RHENUM/SIMUL APERTIS/MDCCLXXXIII”.
