DescriptionCircular medal of Louis XVIII (1755-1824), king of France, commemorating the establishment of peace.

Obverse: Profile bust of Louis XVIII looking to proper left; inscribed at edge "LVDOVICVS·XVIII FRANC·ET·NAV·REX", on shoulder "ANDRIEU F.", and below bust "DE PUYMAVRIN DI.".

Reverse: Standing female at proper right wearing fleur-de-lis patterned toga (France) and standing female at proper left (Minerva) with five standards between them and an inscribed shield; inscribed at edge "REGNIS·EVROPAE·CONCORDIA·STABILIENDIS", below "E.GATTEAUX", and in exergue "ACCESSIT·GALLIA/NOVEMB·MDCCCXV"; inscribed at edge on shield "GALLIA·AVSTRA·BORVSS·ANGLIA·LVSSIA" and at center "SACRO/FOEDERE/IVNCTAE".
