Rectangular cotton batik fragment of a lower body wrapper (kain panjang) with overall ground design of small “fish scales” (grinsing) outlined with brown and dark blue on which are groups of birds, circular medallions containing birds and other stylized motifs in dark blue and brown on a natural ecru ground.
