Black leather uppers: straight tip/toe cap perforated at seam, quarters lace over round double tongue; double seams; black cotton laces. Bulb toes. Black leather soles and stacked flat heels (riveted on top). Leather insoles and linings; black and white twill pull at back. Marked "...Maxwell, 9 Dover Street. W.1. and at Paris."
