DescriptionHeavy linen on which is worked with couching and laid-work, a design of flowers of bright yellow, golden brown, green, blue and pink silk, and raised crosses etc. of gold thread. The ground pf the design is covered with silver thread couched in a diamond pattern. Trimmed with gold lace and gimp, and lined with red silk. The metal thread is made by winding silk with silver and silver gilt.
