DescriptionEmbroidered man's cap; linen with blue, green, and yellow silk embroidery with green silk plain weave tape trim. Cone-shape finial at top with green tape trim, long cilindrical shape, peaked band around bottom with green tape trim. Symetrical pattern of large pine flanked by scrolled blue and green leaves in satin stitch and scrolling vine with flowers in satin stitch; scrolling vines in stem stitch with thicker stems in herringbone; tendrils in buttonhole stitch. Flower on reverse filled with link stitch dots; yellow centers of larger flowers in french knots.
