Ground: black wool. Design: interweaving conventionalized vines bearing small “palms” in red, green blue orange and white wool. Ground and design, interlocking twill tapestry. Coat made with long skirts, long sleeves, and straight upright collar, trimmed with gilt braid couched in elaborate pattern. Upper part of coat lined with black wool. Inscription in white silk on right front (see letters filed).
