Man’s formal court collar (pi’ling) of blue silk satin embroidered with polychrome silk and gold-metallic thread in satin stitch and couching with dragons, bats, sacred jewels, clouds, waves, and Islands of the Blessed. Wide border of silk brocaded with flat gold threads (lamellae). A red cord with ornaments hangs from center of neck border at back. Cape-collar fastens in front at neck. Matching coat (jifu) 23.185b.
