Black flannel tailcoat with silk plain weave (faille) lapels and black silk satin lining. Sleeves lined with brown and white striped cotton trill. Buttons covered with thread in a basket-weave pattern. Woven label at back of neck: “F.C. Rüprich / Leipzig” Waistcoat of black wool flannel with shawl collar, silk twill back, beige cotton twill lining, buttons covered with thread in a basket-weave pattern. Black wool flannel trousers; waistband lined with gray and black striped silk twill, pockets and partial lining of beige cotton twill. Composition (?) suspender buttons, stamped “F C RÜPRICH / LEIPZIG”
