DescriptionCoat: black wool broadcloth embroidered with polychrome floss silk in floral motifs at frontline, vents, collar, cuffs, pockets, buttons; high stand-up collar, round cuffs, sham pockets, heavily padded upper chest and back; pale blue and white silk lining. Waistcoat: foreparts: pale blue silk satin embroidered like coat at collar, front line, bottom, pockets, buttons; blue silk twill and white cotton lining; white glazed cotton back with 6 linen tape ties; single-breasted, high stand-up collar, closed front with modified points, 9 button closure.
