Foreparts: white silk satin embroidered with polychrome silk in floral motifs edged with black/white ribbon motif at lapels, frontline, pocket flaps, hemline; white embroidered sprigs throughout. Single breasted. High stand-up collar. Frontline cut away from midline with short skirts flared over side vents. 7 covered buttons and 5 buttonholes at front; 3 each at pockets. 2 flapped pockets. White cotton-linen back with short vent and two pairs of ties. Cotton lining. Condition: altered (shortened; collar and facings added from leftover material); silk splitting at collar.
