Foreparts: white silk embroidered with polychrome silk in small-scale vining floral motifs at front line, pockets, flaps, hemline; tiny sprigs throughout. Single breasted. Front line cut away from midline with short flared skirts. 9 covered buttons (1 missing) at front. 2 flapped pockets. Brown/white wool back with 2 tabs and brass buckle inscribed “Paris.” White silk twill forepart linings. Condition: side seams and back added in 19th century.
