Man’s wrapper made of 3.5” tan strips of natural brown cotton with a light blue silk stripe down the center; patterned with blue supplementary discontinuous patterning wefts alternating with openwork design created with supplementary wefts (lace weave).


2007, purchased at Akka in Rome, Italy by Timothy Phillips, Cambridge, MA; gift of Phillips to the MFA (December 17, 2008)
