Ground: light neutral cotton cloth, into which tapestry is woven. Warp: cotton (paired as foundation for tapestry.) Weft: (cotton in cloth) wool, 28 to 32 per cm. Design: band with conventionalized birds, woven with neutral yellow, yellowish green, and dark neutral violet, and pale pink on a deep pinkish red ground with narrow bands of pale pink conventionalized fish above and below. Above a row of step-sided triangles with conventionalized heads and geometric figures woven with neutral yellow and yellowish green, with a little cream white and black wool. Design accented and outlined with slits. Deep tab fringe across bottom.
