Ground: light neutral brown cotton. Design: narrow border on two sides worked with wool in crewel stitch, decorated with monsters partly fish, partly animal, each carrying head of human victim. The ground of the border is worked solidly with dark green, the other colors are pink, yellow and dark brown. Ragged and torn.
