Obverse: Profile bust of Maria Antoinette looking to proper right; inscribed at edge “MARIA ANTON·AUSTR·FR·ET NAV·REGINA·” and below on banner “NAT 2 NOV 1755 NUT 16 MAY 1770·COR·11 JUN 1775”.

Reverse: Cart pulled by one horse to proper left, carrying the Queen and her family among a crowd to their execution at the guillotine; inscribed above on banner “ALTERA VENIT VICTIMA” and in exergue “XVI.OCT./MDCCX.CII”.
