The spoon, forged from a single piece has a long shallow bowl with a plain drop. The slightly tapering stem forms a second narrow bowl.

Inscription

ARMORIALS: engraved on underside of large bowl, the crest of Babcock
INSCRIPTIONS: engraved below crest in monogram, "AMB".

Markings

On back of central section, sovereign's head; date letter B; leopard's head crowned; lion passant; maker's mark possibly W.
