DescriptionPainted reddish, terracotta, Mary Magdalen in Penitence. The nude saint with long hair falling over back and shoulders, her left hand at her breast, her right holding the skull, reclines cross-legged on a straw mat. The polychromy (flesh color, brownish hair and mat, grayish-green base) is probably 18th century. The toes of the left foot broken off.
