DescriptionDark red ground. The design consists of birds, human figures, mermaids (?) and other forms. In the lower part are two fish-like creatures, each swallowing a man probably representing Jonah and the whale (?). The mainfield is framed by scalloped motifs. Woven in natural-colored linen and dark red, blue, green, yellow and pink wool. Similar to 11.1443.
