Medallion in stone with over-life-size bust of man, the head in almost full-round. In plumed brimmed hat, bangs & beard, looking left. Edge of medallion molded. Mate to 47.1453.

By 1941, William Randolph Hearst (b. 1863 - d. 1951), New York; from Hearst to the International Studio Art Corporation, New York [see note 1]; August 13, 1941, sold by the International Studio Art Corporation to the Brummer Gallery, New York (stock no.
