This medium ovoid jar is just shy of bag-shaped. It has a rounded base and a flaring neck that end at a straight rim. Traces of a red wash remain on the exterior.

Provenance

From Kerma, Cemetery B, grave 28. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
