This bag-shaped black-polished jar has a slightly pulled, straight rim. The exterior surface is decorated with viertical bands of double lines. Some of these bands have hatched lines within them, while others do not.
From Nubia (Egypt). Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
