Serapis wears an undecorated kalathos or modius on his head and a himation over the chiton or tunic covering his shoulders. Even green patina.

By date unknown: with J. J. Klejman, 982 Madison Avenue, New York 26 (said to be from Alexandria; another bust from the same or similar mould came to the New York Art Market with this); December 14, 1960: purchased by MFA from J. J. Klejman for $ 850.00
