This miniature globular jar has a rounded base, very slight shoulders, an inwardly slanting neck, and slightly rolled rim. Incised decoration has been added: hatched diamond shapes and triangles as well as double-line zigzag patterns.

Provenance

From Nubia (Egypt). Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
