Miniature shouldered jar with flat base and re-curved rim: complete. The exterior surface is covered with a black slip. Like all vessels which fall into the category of Old Kingdom miniature vessels, this jar was completely manufactured on the wheel.

From Dendara. 1898: excavated by William Flinders Petrie for the Egypt Exploration Fund; assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund in the division of finds by the government of Egypt; presented to the MFA at the general meeting of the EEF.
