This object is an almost circular fragment of a mica mirror. Several fragments have broken away from it edges and the remaining section is considerably cracked. The original, reflective luster has dulled.

Provenance

From Seyala (ASN137/10). 1911. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
