Ecclesiastical costume. Mitre for the Armenian Church. Red silk embroidered with polychrome silk and silver yarns. On one side: Madonna and child enthroned surrounded by naturalistic flowers, reflecting European influence via Turkey; on other side: John, same floral design as on other side; at base: Armenian inscription. Some areas painted in.
