This large group of vessel fragments represents many vessels of various types, including: black-topped redware jars, incised black-toped red polished jars, incised black polished jars, redware jar with textured body, a red polished fragment shaped into a lid/token, tlack-topped red polished beakers, and possibly other types.

Provenance

From Kerma, K I (Lower Deffufa), Room Z; Tumulus 10, grave 1061; and possibly others. 1913: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan.
