DescriptionOne of a large group of miniature copper tools and vessels found in the same intact tomb, this model takes the form of a spouted vessel known as a ewer. This example forms a pair with a basin, 13.2946. They represent a washing set.
ProvenanceFrom Giza G 2381 A (tomb of Impy). 1912: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
