DescriptionKnown in the ancient Egyptian language as hes-jars, tall shouldered jars like the one replicated in this copper miniature were used for pouring libations. The jars are characterized by splaying, conical feel, high shoulders and narrow necks. The neck in this example is missing. This vessel is part of a large collection of model vessels and tools found together in an intact burial chamber.
