Square moon shawl (chandar) of wool twill tapestry and white ground with design of central medallion composed of dense floral pattern in red, green and blue and quarter medallions of same pattern in each corner; main field is filled with sinuous boteh motifs surrounded by intertwining branches and leaves; outer border on all sides of repeating floral motif with boteh inside and meandering vines and leaves; small white fringe along two edges.
