Moon shawl (chandar) of cashmere twill tapestry with white ground covered with overall repeating pattern of small dark blue and red buti motifs; central “moon” medallion composed of buti motifs in red, yellow and blue with quarter medallions of same pattern in each corner; narrow guard bands (hashia) with design of floral meander; narrow white cashmere fringe stitched along each crosswise end.
