Square “moon” shawl (chandar) of cashmere twill tapestry and design in main field of diagonally-oriented rows of squares in red, blues, green, and yellow with a small flower (buti) inside each; central medallion with scalloped edges which contains vase, dish, leafy fronds and radial flower; pattern repeated in quarter medallions at each corner; narrow outer border (hashia) has meandering floral pattern with Islamic calligraphy.
