Moon shawl (chandar) of cashmere twill tapestry with red ground covered with overall repeating design of small boteh motifs in light and dark blue, yellow, white and red; central “moon” medallion composed of floral motifs with quarter medallion of similar design in each corner; narrow white guard bands (hashes) with design of floral meander in wool and silk.
