An Australian artist of aboriginal heritage, Moffatt works in film, video, and photography. The portfolio Scarred for Life recalls the format of a 1960s weekly magazine, with disturbing scenes constructed by the artist. The grainy quality of the images intentionally suggests film stills, which creates the impression that these are details of a larger project and relate to a common story or theme.
