Black incised “N-ware” bowl. It is straight sided. The base is flat, and the rim is plain and squared. It is incised with lines on the rim and base, as well as sides. It is broken and mended. It is partly restored. The incised areas are filled in with a white substance. It is complete.

Provenance

From Nubia (Egypt). Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
