White linen damask napkin depicting the conquest of Barcelona by Charles of Austria; inscriptions: BARCELONA DEVICTA EST PER CAROLVM 9A OCTOBRIS 1705, CAROLVS III AVSTRIE ARCHIDVX; design is a reverse repeat from left to right. Condition: very good; some minor repairs. Satin of 5cm: warp 31 (30-32) threads/cm. Weft 30 (27-32) threads/cm.
