Circular medal of Napoléon (1769-1821), emperor of France, commemorating his entry into Austerlitz.
Obverse: Profile bust of Napoléon looking to proper left, wearing a laureate wreath; inscribed at edge “NAPOLEON EMP.ET ROI.”.
Reverse: Laureate legionaire standing at proper left with eagle-crowned banner at center and standing woman at proper right, each figure extends hand to one another without touching; inscribed in exergue “ENTREVUE DE L’EMP:NAPOLEON/ET DE L’EMP.FRANCOIS II/[cannot read]/MDCCCV”.
Obverse: Inscribed at edge "NAPOLEON EMP.ET ROI.".
