DescriptionThis necklace consists of several hundred small blue and black faience ring beads, five cylinder beads, three pendant heads (possibly amulets) -- one drop pendant and two unidentifiable -- and one larger white ring bead and two ball beads on portions of original stringing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Sheikh Farag SF 85. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
