DescriptionRandom assortment of stone beads (steatite?) of various shapes, one sard rectangular gem intaglio of dolphin to left, and one gold button with raised center and four holes along edge.
ProvenanceSaid to be from Lebena, Crete. By 1968, Cornelius C. Vermeule, III (b. 1925 - d. 2008) and Emily Townsend Vermeule (b. 1928 - d. 2001), Cambridge, MA [see note]; 2001, gift of Cornelius C. Vermeule to the MFA. (Accession Date: March 21, 2001)
