Vessels

Globular neckless shouldered jar with collared rim and flat base: reconstructed from sherds and largely complete, though missing some portions of the body. The entire vessel was manufactured using the wheel and the exterior red slipped and burnished. The red slip appears to have been applied off of the wheel with irregular strokes. Similar in form to the miniature versions, such as 13-12-22c.1. // 20.1884

Provenance

From Giza, G 4631B, Chamber. G 14 Pot 4.
