Obverse: Bust of Nicholas I looking to proper right; inscribed in Cyrillic at edge and under bust.

Reverse: Crowned woman seated at proper left against a male lion on a plinth, holding a disk in left hand and a wreath with right hand over a man kneeling at proper right with a pick in his hand and tools at his feet; inscribed in Cyrillic above, on plinth, and below in a band.
