DescriptionAt the left a bearded man wearing a red cloak (himation) offers a small bird to a nude youth seated on the base of a funerary stele. On the right, a girl holding a basket gestures to the boy. She wears her hair piled on top of her head and tied back with a band. She carries various items in her basket, such as a wreath, and ribbons for decorating the stele.
