DescriptionOne face of a cushion cover made up of several fragments. Polychrome silk yarns on undetermined ground. Outer border of fifteen small fragments of type of embroidery attributed to Joannina, province of Epirus; central portion in two parts: upper half shows man and woman flanking a blue vase and was probably worked in Epirus or the Ionian of a superimposed "King" and "Queen" pattern and may have been worked on Patmos.
