DescriptionWorked with polychrome silks, silver-gilt and silver threads in laid and couched work and straight stitched. Four quatre foils; two with blazons, one with the Virgin and Child and one with St. Francis of Assisi. Quatrefoils alternate with confronted grotesques. Very worn in some areas but silks bright in remaining areas. Ex-collection Iklé.
