The ground is of pink satin. The design of two wreaths of conventional flowers, filled with cherubs and groups of thistle-like flowers, is woven with violet, white and green silk and gold thread made by winding a linen thread with gilded gold beater’s skin (Cyprian gold). On two sides are narrow conventional borders. Similar to 96.468 (T.3368).
