Orange carnelian. Intaglio. Flat front and back with inward back bezel. Depth of gem varies. Amor, nude and winged, stands in front of a trophy with breastplate (cuirass) and helmet set above a shield resting on the ground. He lifts a spear toward the trophy. His head in profile to the left and his body is in three-quarter perspective from the rear; his left leg steps in front of his right. The positioning is awkwardly rendered. Amor stands on a ground line.
